Rosie Green Events didn’t begin with a business plan or a grand strategy. It started with a feeling. A quiet conviction that the most meaningful moments in life deserve to be celebrated in a way that feels considered, effortless, and deeply personal.

I grew up in York, surrounded by history, rolling countryside and a strong sense of character. North Yorkshire has a timeless charm to it – sweeping views, handsome buildings, and a pace that invites presence. That environment shaped me, not just in how I see beauty, but in how I value people, connection, and the atmosphere we create around us.
Before I found myself in weddings, my world looked very different. I worked in project management, leading large-scale programmes in the tech industry. It was structured, demanding and fast-paced. I learnt how to plan meticulously, think strategically and bring complex visions to life. But something was missing. It didn’t feel human. It lacked joy.
At heart, I’ve always been someone who seeks out celebration. I’m a festival lover, a live music enthusiast, and someone who understands the power of people coming together. I believe in the energy a space can hold and the way it can transform how we feel. That has always pulled me towards creating moments that matter.
Motherhood brought with it a different lens. Everything sharpened. What I wanted from life changed, and so did what I wanted my work to represent. I began looking at the wedding world with fresh eyes and saw so many celebrations that looked perfect on the surface, but didn’t feel truly personal. I believed there was another way. A way to honour both beauty and meaning. A way to combine exceptional planning with genuine warmth.
That was the beginning of Rosie Green Events as it exists today. More than a planning service, it became a philosophy. We create celebrations that reflect the people at the heart of them – stylish, yes, but also soulful. Designed with intention, executed with care, and always centred around real emotion.

Luxury, for us, is never just about grandeur. It’s about thoughtfulness. It’s about crafting an experience that lingers in your memory because of how it felt, not just how it looked. Our clients are discerning but down to earth. They value design and detail, but above all, they want their wedding to feel like them.
What sets us apart is our approach. We’re known for our ability to balance the structure of careful planning with the natural ease of a celebration that flows beautifully. We’re often told that we’re different from other planners, and although we don’t know exactly what the secret is, we do know that we care. Truly. About our couples, their families, their suppliers, and every guest who walks through the door.
Our goal is never just to run an event. It’s to shape an experience where excellence supports emotion. Where the technical details allow space for something heartfelt to unfold. Because, ultimately, it’s not the flowers or the table settings that stay with you – although they matter. It’s the moments in between.
It’s the quiet hush before the ceremony begins. The sound of laughter drifting through a candlelit room. That joyful chaos when the dancefloor comes alive and everyone forgets what time it is. These are the moments we live for. This is what makes it unforgettable.
As our events evolved, they became larger, more layered, and often stretched over multiple days. Our work has taken us across the country – from elegant venues and private estates in the South of England to historic houses and hidden gems across the North. That growth has brought fresh inspiration to everything we do.
What we offer is more than just wedding planning. It’s support, vision and care. It’s a safe pair of hands. It’s the difference between a wedding that looks beautiful and one that feels completely, undeniably yours.
We do this because it matters. Because life is worth celebrating. And because when it’s done well, those celebrations become some of the most precious memories you’ll ever make.
If you’re ready to begin, we’d love to help you create something truly unforgettable.
