It’s a conversation we often have in person, perhaps at your home, over coffee at our studio, or sometimes virtually if you’re overseas. Wherever we meet, it’s the depth of the discussion that matters most.

We explore more than just aesthetics. Together, we’ll talk about your personal story, family traditions, and the energy you’d like the day to carry. We consider how architecture, light, sound and even scent can influence the mood of a space. We ask thoughtful questions that help uncover your unique perspective, and from there, we begin to build something special.

Once we’ve got to the heart of your vision, we begin the search for a venue that’s more than just a setting. The places we propose aren’t just beautiful, they tell a story. Whether it’s a stately private home, an elegant country estate, or somewhere entirely unexpected, each one is carefully chosen to support the design direction. We look at how natural light shifts through the day, how guests will move from one space to the next, and how the building itself might enhance or inform the tone of the celebration. It’s a detailed process, but one we absolutely love.

From there, we enter the design phase. This is where your ideas come to life visually, emotionally and practically. We start with mood boards that capture the overall atmosphere, how you want the day to feel, and build them out into fully illustrated design concepts. Everything from the ceremony setting to the dining table is thoughtfully sketched and specified, and we often include tactile samples so you can see and feel how it all comes together. Fabrics, paper stocks, glassware, textures, and even the ribbon that will tie your place cards. Nothing is ever left to chance.

We don’t work with fixed packages or ready-made ideas. Every design is created specifically for you, taking inspiration from your story, your surroundings and the experience you want to share with your guests. We’ll introduce you to the artisans and specialists who can bring each part of the vision to life. Whether it’s a floral designer with a poetic touch, a stationer who hand-paints each detail, or a lighting designer who understands how to work with heritage buildings, we assemble the perfect team for your day.

Our relationships with our creative partners run deep, and we only bring people into a project who fully understand and respect the vision. We hold creative meetings, test ideas, and ensure that everyone is working in harmony to bring your celebration to life in the most authentic and elevated way possible.

As the wedding approaches, we move into the production phase. This is where all the creativity meets precision. We develop detailed floorplans, lighting specifications, installation schedules and guest flow plans. We map out every element so that you and your guests experience the day with complete ease, even though behind the scenes, there’s an extraordinary amount of coordination at play.

A few weeks before the wedding, we host a full design review. You’ll see mock-ups of tablescapes, walk through the lighting transitions and taste the menu with your selected wines. It’s about perfecting the final details and making sure everything feels exactly right. Sometimes it’s the smallest tweak, a switch in a floral variety or an adjustment to a napkin fold, that creates the magic.

Then comes the wedding itself. On the day, we are there, present but never intrusive. You won’t see us directing with clipboards or making a fuss. We operate quietly, making sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes. You’ll be fully in the moment, able to take it all in, while we manage the dozens of moving parts that make it all feel effortless.
